Quick question regarding the Audible app

iOS & iPadOS

I've got a real quick question.

I recently added a book to my wishlist. Though I do have enough credits right now to get it, I'm finnishing up another book first, but don't want to forget about this title that someone just suggested to me.

Anyway, when ready to get this particular book, how, within the audible app, do I go about getting back to my wishlist to see what books are in there, and complete the checkout process.

AS far as I know, you cannot purchase books through the iOS Audible app. You must use the Audible website to purchase books.

The only way you can get books is from their web page. Sad but true.

This has been a rather recent addition to the app. Once you find a book that you wish to purchase, open up the book details. Here you will find the Play Sample button, how many credits you have available, and then Add to Library button. Assuming you have credits, then a one finger double tap will add your book to your library. I have done this without issue.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to access the Wish List, inside the app, that I am aware of. My suggestion is to create a reminder or note, regarding that book you wanted to keep track of. Then, when you are ready, conduct a search in the app. You can then add the book to your library, inside the app, without ever going to the PC.

To add a book from your wish list go to the home screen in the app, then navigate by heading to the From Wish List and then select your book and then do what the previous poster mentioned.

Whilst it is true that you can use credits to purchase books within the app, this functionality is not available everywhere. For example, I have two accounts, a UK and US one. The credit purchasing is only available on the US account. I'm very much hoping that it will expand to the rest of the world as it is a far nicer experience to browse and purchase books within the app. The audible site seems pretty broken to me in terms of accessibility such as not including author names on the homepage in recommended listings and there is some odd Java behaviour.

I wasn't aware that a person could purchase anything directly from the Audible app for iOS.

Although it is true that you can now purchase audiobooks directly from the Audible app using your available credits, purchasing audiobooks using your credit card still has to be done on the Audible website.

Hi, just in case anyone tries to purchase using credits in the UK audible app, I have both a UK and a US account as I started the US account in 2001 when audible wasn’t available in the UK. You can only purchase books using credits in the app with the US account. If you try in the UK you will see the old behaviour of only offering to add to library and nothing about purchasing with credits.
