Hello, I have a problem with changing the keyboard language in Google Maps. When I go to the writing field and try to change the language from English to Italian, it takes me out of the field and redirects me to home, work and add a contact. I can't change the language, the same thing happens from Italian to English.
Does anyone have the same problem? I deleted the app and reinstalled it but to no avail.

This glitch has been with Google Maps for a couple of weeks. However, it's not just generated by any attempt to alter the typing language. In fact, if you explore by touch the area above the keyboard after double-tapping the edit field, the keyboard disappears. So any attempt to touch an area above or below the letters or numbers will generate that problem.
Happened before
About a year or more back exactly the same happened. The keyboard would just vanish and you couldn't do a search. I gave up on GM because of this. A few months later it started working correct again so obviously they know of the issue.
