Notifications issue on my iPhone

Hi there. I am curious if anyone knows about this bug or what is going on. But every once in a while, my phone decides to just not let me know of any notifications when my device is unlocked. For example, I might be watching a YouTube video and someone might text me, but I never knew that the text arrived because there was no push notification. But when I check my notification center, there it is. The only way to fix this bug is to restart my phone. I also would like to mention that I do not have Do Not Disturb or any other focus mode enabled, and I am running the latest version of iOS, which is iOS 26.5.2. Does anyone else have this bug, and is this something that can easily be fixed? I heard this was a bug within iOS 14, and I hope that is not lingering around since iOS 14.

Hi.

This happens every now and then for me on an iPhone 16+. However so far it has not happened since updating to 26.5.2. What I have observed though are time-sensitive notifications block all other notifications until I dismiss the time-sensitive notification. I guess we will just have to see if these have been fixv when iOS 27 is released in the fall.

I had been experiencing this bug too in the past.
The bug is kind of hard to reproduce, because it appears to be very random. So far on iOS 26.5.2 I have not experienced this, but there is every chance that the bug could come back again.
I think this bug has been around since like iOS 17 or something.
