No headphone jack and routing audio to mixer

iOS and iPadOS

When making demos of iPhone apps I generally run a cable from the earphone jack of my iPhone 6 to an external audio mixer in order to obtain the best sound quality.

Question: With the new iPhones that do not contain an audio jack (like the iPhone 7), what is the best way to route audio output from the iPhone to my mixer?

Thanks for any advice.

I believe you can get a lightning to audio connecter (don't the Iphone 7s come with those?) Then just plug your lightning port in, then attach your connecter to that?
