Netflix issues

iOS and iPadOS

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with the Netflix app. It’s become impossible for me to navigate the app and scroll through all the different sections of titles. I am also having trouble searching for titles. The app was working perfectly fine last week but I’m not sure if it’s the new version of the app or the version of iOS I’m using. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried navigating by headings or containers? That's how I use it with ease. But then again, I haven't updated my app in a month because I got fedup of when the app updates, it changes my setting and sets it to autoplay which I don't want and I have to fix it each and every time. And why I say I don't want to update my app unless I need to, is because the Netflix account that I'm using is shared with some of my family members so if I log in and not tell them they will think that their account was hacked so that's why I decided to not update unless I really need to. I hope your problem gets fixed though. Sometimes when they update apps things tend to break so that's why I don't like to update right away. And about searching for stuff, maybe I'm having the same issue as you, but for each and every letter that I enter, it says search completed. That's very annoying. I don't know how to fix that.

Hi. Is it possible that you’ve accidentally turned on screen recognition? I find it makes most apps impossible to navigate but can be useful for identifying some elements that aren’t labelledTo check if you’ve accidentally turned it on, use the rotor to get to screen recognition and then swipe up or down and so it says screen recognition off then do you are single tap anywhere on the screen and hopefully you can then use Netflix as normal.

I decided for the first time in a while to use the Netflix app on my phone. I’m watching the sinner and can’t change seasons for some reason. Could someone please assist?

If its in your my list go there and it should show you the list of seasons. If its not there, search for it manualy and when you tap on it swipe to the season you want and it should work.

No problem. A question about some of the notifications. I remember using the app some time ago and I saw something where they said that a few shows would be leaving Netflix. How ever, I was watching a show, and all of a sudden it just vanished. I got no notifications about it leaving the library. I had to find that out from my cousin and when I checked the app it really was gone. Is there a way to find those types of notifications in case I might miss them? I was watching gossip girl and it vanished for me after episode 6 of season 5.

I’ve seen a couple on Netflix and they sound really really cool. However I am on my iPhone 8 and I really don’t know how to make choices or if it’s possible with voiceover? Let me know if you get to try it out :-)
