I am hoping that I can get an answer to my question this way. I recently got the Navigon app on my iPhone 4. How do I turn on the pedestrian mode? Or will it even make a difference when I am attempting to use the app? Thank you.

You need to select the speed profile pedestrian (with voice announcements). Here is how to do this: 1. Select the "more" button from the main menu. 2. Select the options button. 3. Double tap on "Route Profile". 4. Select "speed Profile". Note that there may already be a speed profile selected. 5. Choose the speed profile pedestrian (with voice announcements). Click the back button until you reach the More heading. You can then select the main menu button. You may also want to listen to the podcast from BlindCoolTech about iPhone GPS that deals with Navigon. http://media.libsyn.com/media/bct/bct1515iPhoneGPSComparison.mp3 I hope this helps! Jon.
