Is the My Phonak hearing aid app completely accessible?

Hi, me again!

So, after playing with the Otican Intent Ones for a few days, I've decided not to keep them. The Made For iPhone compatibility is a bit of a joke with a pretty poor connection. I understand that Bluetooth LE Audio is far better but I don't have a device that uses that. On top of this, music sounds bad through speakers, has a strange tremolo effect due to the processing and the app on IOS is pretty inaccessible beyond the very basic controls.

I did read on a reddit post that the Phonak app is completely accessible, but wanted to check before I dived down another rabbit hole. As Phonak use classic Bluetooth, I'm hoping the connection will be more reliable and not drop out or distort. I know it's not going to be any where near as good as AirPods, but I do need some clarity and, for three grand, I expect a certain level of performance and quality of features.

Aside from that, they were good. I did enjoy the clearer top ends, it just isn't a big enough difference to warrant the cost.

i’m able to use the app using my hearing aids. I have. Phonaks lumnity r50. I’m able to change the programs from the app, customize, each preset that is available with my hearing needs, and from the main screen, I can of course check battery percentage, adjust the volume, and split the audio if needed, which means I can just you know have the ability to adjust each hearing aids volume on their own to be separate.

Not fully accessible but usable at least. As mentioned already it gets the job done. May have changed some since I used it last, I don't like having my hearing aid force connected to my phone so tend to not worry aobut the app but it lets me do all Ineed with it with volume controls, if Ihad additional programs Icould do that as well and yes seeing battery level is useful. It handles everything I need it to do. I think there are some parts that have some issues at times but usable.

I actually use the oticon app and though it is not totally accessable, with screen recognition one can do the basics on it which is all i need. Also I heard that for both the Phonak and Oticon, the apple watch crown can adjust volume on the go so long as crown navigation with voice over is disabled
