I upgraded to iOS 26 a few days ago, and I am starting to regret it. I have a SE third generation now running iOS 26. The battery runs down to 20% a lot faster than it used to. What do I need to shut off or change in order to keep my battery from running out so fast?

Mine is the same
My iPhone is an SE3. I'm experiencing the same problem: since updating to iOS 26, the battery drains very quickly. This happens many times. Restarting the phone improves it, but after a short time, the battery drains rapidly again.
These days, I have to charge my iPhone at least 3 times a day. It's terrible. I don't know if Apple is interested in these issues or if they're just overlooking the problem because our model isn't a flagship model.
Sometimes this happens when you first do an update
Sometimes this happens the first couple of days after our new update. This is kind of normal behavior. I have an SE third generation also running iOS 26.2 and I think this may have happened to me a couple of times but on this update, I donβt seem to see it. I think if you give it a couple of days it should straighten itself out. Also, one of the things you can do is make sure you turn off the background app refresh settings. Hope this helps.
Restart
If you had not done so, do a restart. Always do so, when updating to a iOS. Long live cats.
re: Singer Girl
My SE3 has been updated for almost half a month now, and this problem never gets better. Okay, it might improve for a while after I restart the device, but then the problem returns.
