Hello Everyone,

My name is Nour, and I'm excited to introduce Speak R Clearly, a speech practice app I built with complete VoiceOver accessibility from day one.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/speak-r-clearly/id6751442522

WHAT IT DOES

Speak R Clearly helps children and adults practice pronouncing the R sound correctly. I personally struggled with R sound pronunciation growing up, which affected my confidence in school and job interviews. When I decided to build a practice tool, I made it fully accessible to everyone, including blind and low-vision users.

The app includes:
- Individual word practice with recording and feedback
- 10 story missions with fun characters
- Progress tracking with achievements and XP
- Practice by position (initial, medial, final R sounds)

ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

VoiceOver Support:
- All navigation elements properly labeled
- Recording and practice features accessible
- Progress tracking announced
- Story missions fully navigable

Other Features:
- Voice Control compatibility
- Dynamic Type support (scales to accessibility sizes)
- Reduce Motion support
- Works 100% offline (no internet needed)
- Zero data collection (privacy-first)

PRICING

Free Tier:
- 5 hearts that renew daily
- Unlimited practice on any word you practice that day
- All 10 story missions included
- All accessibility features free (not paywalled)

Pro Tier: $4.99/month or $29.99/year
- Unlimited hearts
- CSV data export
- Dark mode

I NEED YOUR HELP

I've implemented VoiceOver support throughout the app, but I know the blind community will be the best judges of how well it actually works. If you find any accessibility issues, unclear labels, or navigation problems, please let me know. I'm here to listen and make Speak R Clearly work better for everyone.

You can reply here or email me directly at: [email protected]

I'm happy to provide free Pro access codes to community members who want to test and provide feedback.

Thank you to the AppleVis community. I hope Speak R Clearly can be useful, and I'm counting on your expertise to help me make it truly accessible.

Sad in my country I grew up, some of us can not do the r if the word is right or similar words where the R is in front. Specially those of Latino descent. Long live cats.
