Hi!
I crochet a whole lot and wonder what app is the most efficient for identifying yarn colours.

Tap Tap See!

I would tell you to try Tap Tap See. It has always been the most robust and accurate for me. I've had it tell me clothes not only down to color, but manufacturer.
It can tell me thermostat settings... Actual temp, as well as what I have it set to.
It has read words on my tv, or computer when I've been stuck on something.
Color accuracy is good if you are somewhere providing enough light.. I'd say about 90% accuracy. I haven't come across anything as good.

I use yarn too for plastic

I use yarn too for plastic canvas. I was wondering the same thing. I have tried multiple color identifier apps and they all just start calling out colors when you activate the identification feature and they don’t stop until you close the app. Does Tap Tap See do this?
