iOS and iPadOS
Hello. I want to enable screen recognition on my device. Just to see how it’s like. But I don’t know how. Can you help me? I am using an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.
To my knowledge, screen recognition is limited to devices with the A12 Bionic chip and later. This includes the iPhone XS and later, iPad (8th generation) and later, iPad Mini (5th generation) and later, iPad Air (3rd generation) and later, and iPad Pro (all 11 inch models, and 12.9 inch, 3rd generation and later.)
Officially, the screen recognition settings aren’t available on devices running a 11 processors or older but screen recognition is available, but if you restored your device from an iCloud backup, screen recognition will be no longer available, but if you set up your phone as a new iPhone, there is a hidden rotor setting called screen recognition, which in fact it works and it requires an iPhone 6s or Newer

Screen recognition
Go into settings, tap on voiceover, tap on screen recognition. Then you'll see different options for turning on screen recognition for apps etc.
You need a newer phone for that.
You'll probably want to upgrade your phone anyway, as the 7 won't be supported when the new IOS comes out next month.
