How do you delete an entry on calender?

iOS and iPadOS
Hi all, Does anyone know how to delete an entry on the standard calender? I am using IOS 7.1 on an iPhone 5s. Thank you, Steve.

Good morning. How can I get a list of appointments in iOS 7.1? I could do this in 7 by pressing search and without typing in the edit box seeing all appointments in a list. I've tried using the list button but nothing seems to change.

Hi, I find that SIRI is a great tool for creating, searching, editing and deleting appointments in the Calendar. I normally don't use SIRI all that much but recent changes have made "Her" far more intuitive to use. Certainly more so than the ever changing on screen menu. For example, to delete a calendar entry, ask SIRI to find it, either by name or date. Once SIRI has selected it, simply say edit or delete and follow the prompts. Super simple... Have a play and see how You go. Sea No Evil.

If youw ant to get a list of appointments switch the thing to list view with the buttons at the bottom of the calendar, but I personally like the month layout, as I can see specially what I have as I know where the days in the week are. I've seen what a braille calendar looks like, so i can know specially where to put my finger on that month.
