Has Red Laser taken a step backwards?

iOS and iPadOS

Recently, sometime in the last couple of weeks, Red Laser has stopped giving me useful results. Previously, I would get the item name, any reviews, and links to however many sources selling the item Red Laser could find. It was really very useful and has been the best at quickly scanning UPC codes out of all of the apps I've tried.

Now, when I scan an item, I get the UPC number, the information that there are zero reviews available and that is it. I can still favorite the item or add it to a list, but since it doesn't display the name or any other information, that is also pretty much pointless. I do not recall if there was an update or not, I suppose there had to have been unless the app has become corrupted on my phone.

If anyone knows of a way to get the app working correctly again, I would love to know. If this is a result of changes made from an update, I would encourage users to email the developer to try and get this fixed.

Thanks,

Chris
