FileBrowser - how to connect to Windows PC

Hi,

I'm experimenting with the lite version of FileBrowser on my Iphone to see if it is the right app for me when it comes to working with files on different locations.

I'm having trouble connecting to my Windows 7 PC from the app.. The error i'm getting is 'socket timed out'. I'm using Comodo Firewall and. I've tried turning that off. Any help would be appreicated on how to get this to work.

I've enabled file sharing in the control panel of Windows.

Thanks

I can connect to my Windows 7

I can connect to my Windows 7 PC now and see the list of folders I am sharing. However, whenever I click on a folder to view it's contents, FileBrowser gives me an 'Access Denied' error and says it is unable to list the items in the folder.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I think it is something to do with the sharing settings on my PC but I can't work out how to get this to work.
