Emoji questions

iOS and iPadOS

Hi all. This mainly applies to IOS, but asking for both platforms. Anyway I just went and did this emoji:  the hhand making the sign of the horns. I had to flick past the "Send", to find the options. As it was, I forgot the keystorke on the Mac, to accomplish the same task. Anyway I'm asking two questions:

1. If you write Facepalm, and the default skintone is man facepalming, how is it possible to change first, genter, second skin tone?
2. Would anyone else rather see an alert on the item being tapped on, that either, says default skintone is woman, light medium skintone, tap to change? or would someone like it if you could maybe go into settings and enable your prefferences there? I realize IOSis in beta, but if I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, someone rescue me. ;) thanks all. BTW what I mean is I had already wrote facepalm, and the man facepalming was the dafault. So my question was, if you are at the man, and you want the woman, how do you do that? I hope i made some sense.

Hi. Here's how I do it on Ios. I'm not sure if it'll work this way on the mac, but it could be worth a shot. On my ipad, there's 2 face palm emojis woman and man with skin tones. If I haven't used that emoji and click on it, it asks me to choose a skin tone. Then if for some reason I'd like to change it, then I double tap and hold on the emoji and it'll give me my skin town options back.

I'm not entirely sure if this will work for the Mac, but here's an idea that you could try. Say you wrote face palming and as you say the man comes up. Well, instead of putting face palming, type: woman face palming. I know there are both male and female emojis for this and a few other things, because I use emojis on my ipad, and I've scrolled past them and used a few of them multiple times. Good luck and hope this helps.
