Hi, I note that a new version of the Ecobee Ap was recently released. During a recent conversation with Ecobee support, I was advised that they were hard at work on making the app accessible. There is no indication on the release notes regarding accessibility improvements. If any of you fine feathered friends use the product I would very much like to know if the latest version is more accessible. I have an opportunity to acquire the Ecobee 3 thermostat via a tax insentive but, I do not want to plunge myself into a bad situation here that includes paying a contractor to install a C power wire and an inability to control the unit with my iPhone 8.
