Yep, it's available on all iPhone and iPads pro with lidar, so for phones, iPhone 12 pro and up.
I've played with door detection a little bit and have not come away as impressed as podcasts and demos make it sound. Perhaps I'm just no good with a camera lol, but I've never been able to get it to give me a consistent description of a door, even when moving slowly to find it like you are supposed to.
Same thing using image descriptions -- VoiceOver will often give me a totally different description of what the camera is pointed at, even if I don't move.
How do some people get good results with their iPhone camera (like usable document scans) and some of us don't get anything useful?
