A while ago deliveroo introduced a change which makes it more difficult to view restaurants and purchase food.
When you double tap on a restaurant name then an overlay appears sayhing 'Discover what people like you are saying about this place'.
There is no way that I know of to dismiss this overlay.
If you switch off Voiceover and tap around the centre of the screen then it goes away but this approach is very hit and miss.
Has anyone else seen this and if so is there a solution?
Perhaps we should contact the app developer so they can fix the issue?
This is on iOS 16.4 using an iPhone se 2022 and the latest Deliveroo app.

Unfortunately there is no simple fix for this. Even using screen recognition, which you should definitely try because it's your best option, can get stuck or unresponsive. Ultimately, I'm afraid this is a note for the Deliveroo people as there's no clear workaround.
