Cannot add a reaction to a message on WhatsApp

Hi just wondering to know is anyone else having problems with iOS 26 and WhatsApp? I used to be able to react to a message on WhatsApp but since iOS 26 it does not seem to be possible the reaction screen with the emojis on it just seems to flash up for a couple of seconds and by the time I can locate it on the screen it is gone. I’m running the newest version of iOS and I am on VoiceOver any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This is a known issue. Details can be found on Applevis's blog post about iOS 26. It has also already been reported to Apple, but please report anyway as the more reports they receive the quicker this will be fixed.
