Hello there to all, I just installed IOS26 I think the day before yesterday and I've got a question. When someone hangs up a call, I no longer get the sound but I instead am getting haptics. Can this be changed? Also I'm getting haptics when someone answers or when I answer a call. What? Just to let you know, my phone is not on silent and I got my sound up. Running IPhone16

I get both
I get both, though I mostly use AirPods so that might be part of why I get both.
Calls
No issues. Get both. 16 pro max.
Think I'm Getting Both...
I received a call earlier today from my mother. I got the vibration and her ringtone. However, I also received a text message letting me know the meds I just ordered were shipped and are on their way to me. I only got a vibration for the text message, so we'll see what happens going forward. Additionally, I was out on my deck earlier this afternoon and got a Weather Gods alert. I am wearing my hearing aids, and a train came by at the time. I believe I only got a vibration for the WG alert too. Blue-tooth was on when I was outside, but I haven't yet checked this out with blue-tooth turned off.
I have been searching the Heavens and Earth about this issue
Thank you for posting this, like you I just want the phone to vibrate when in Silent mode and not when receiving a call or dropping it. Also when you long press the side button to talk to Siri I get this Haptic. Some clever person said disable Haptics from accessibility/ touch there is a toggle but if you toggle it on; any I mean any Haptic feedback would be disabled. I have turned Haptics off from Settings/ accessibility/ Voice Over/ audio and under Settings/ Sounds and Haptics the System Haptics have been toggled Off but yet I get the Haptics like mentioned earlier
