Hi everybody!
I have an interesting problem I hope somebody can help me solve.
Even though I have call recording turned off in settings, when ever I place a call, I hear voice over tell me that call recording has started!
1. How do I stop this?
2. Where are the recordings so I can go and delete them?

I expect this is just the button.
When you get connected on a call VO focus lands on the recording button for the call. This is not actually the call being recorded, but the function to record a call.
Try this:
1. Call a friend
2. Tell them you want to experiment with call recording.
3. Press the button we are discussing.
4. I expect you will hear a message stating this call is being recorded.
5. Go ahead and try turning this off.
I believe at this point VoiceOver will tell you that the recording and transcript are saved in the notes app.

This should only show up on the call screen, where your controls, such as audio source, mute/unmute, etc, are located. The call recording button is in the top left corner, and as mentioned above, whenever you take a call, VoiceOver will always land on that button.
It can be a little confusing, but trust me, once you have actually experienced recording a phone call, you will understand the differences.
In my experience, the call recording button is replaced with a, "more info", button, on the keypad screen, which allows you to do things with regards to the contact/person in which you are in a phone call with at the moment. Such as calling, messaging, adding to contacts, etc.

I think that you may be right. I went into notes and there were no notes. I have this app on my home page because I envisioned that I'd be using it, but the welcome screen told me that this app would be very useful with all the kinds of notes that it could take. Thank you very much for this!

During a call, is the keypad different or do I need to go somewhere else to see those in call buttons?
Sorry for all the questions, but I have been away from iPhones for 2 1/2 years.

There's no way to make it record automatically is there?
I'd love a setting that just automatically recorded calls, I'm in a place where that's totally legal. I assume it doesn't exist though? It's a pain to answer a call, get the phone away from my head, mess around on the screen to find the button, and so on.
