Hi all, I am looking for a color identifier app. Which one is the most accurate? Thank you. Found one I like for money identification but I don't have one for colors.
I crochet and if I want to get the colour of a yarn I just use TapTapSee. It has always proven acurate to me.
I have tried other apps and there is a funktion in Seeing AI but I prefer the other one.
This really depends on what you want identified.
in terms of accuracy, most color id apps are jokes, they are as accurate as your horoscopes.
taptapsee is a great app, it actually has real intelligence built in. for example, it actually reads analog displays, and most of the time, there are real human on the other side to solve problems machines can't. the problem is it doesn't always know color is what you want. so if you take a picture of a bottle of mcclelland's 15 year scotch, it will tell you the name of the scotch and not the color.

Seeing AI tends to be helpful with identifying color, and I find its other functions to be helpful as well.
