Authorizing dice World with Twitter Versus iOS11

By Steve Mann, 1 October, 2017

iOS and iPadOS

I'm having an issue with Dice World now that apple has done away with the ability to set up a twitter account linked to your iDevice. I've been told that the latest dice World update gives you the ability to authorize the app to access Twitter, but I've not found anything anywhere in either the app's settings or in my iPhone's settings that would allow me to authorize the app. An old saying is holding true once again and it's entirely too bad I can't aim this directly at apple, but, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Hi Steve, it's quite simple to do. When you win a game, and you're prompted to tweet your win for 2 gold, just do as you normally do and double tap that button, tweet your win, 2 gold. next a screen will come up that asks you to connect your account with twitter. double-tap the connect button, and that's all. I found that I had to do it a couple times to stick, but I can tweet my wins as normal. i'm not even running iOS 11 yet.
