I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Audible app or iOS, but I noticed recently that if I try to scroll down in my library view, the app just hangs. If I scroll down I can hear the first book with the download link, then scroll down and I get the second and at that point it just goes quiet. I've tried downloading both of these books but the same thing happens.
It's probably been a few weeks since I went into the library view, but I tried a few days ago on 26.1 and have now upgraded to 26.2 and it's no better. I deleted the app, rebooted and reinstalled but still no joy.
I will see if I can get anywhere with customer support, but just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max if it makes a difference.

Scrolling?
When you say scrolling do you mean swiping to the right? Eventually doing that you should get back to the tabs at the bottom? If so I don't have this issue at all. Works as expected with no hanging. iPhone 15 pro iOS 26.2
How are you performing a scroll gesture?
As the subject states, how are you performing your scroll gesture? Are you simply swiping to the right to go from title to title? Are you doing a three finger swipe up and down? Or are you using the scroll bar and the action router?
Mr. Grieves
Please ignore my post above, after testing this out on my backup iPhone, an old iPhone SE second edition by the way, running iOS 26.2, audible does indeed freeze up and/or crash when trying to scroll the library. However, I have discovered a solution, at least one that works for me. I figure if it works on my old device, it should definitely work on your Somewhat newer device.
1. First, you'll have to close, and then reopen the Audible app. Once it gets in this weird state, I do not know how to unstick it, other than to simply close it out.
2. When the app is opened again, double tap on the library tab, then feel in the top left area for the search button. From there, carefully swiped to the right until you hear, "Audiobooks, button". Double tap here.
3. Now, you can swipe to the right, or left, and navigate through your library with impunity. It also includes the three finger swipe to scroll as well.
A heads up! You absolutely will have to do this every single time you want to navigate your library, I do not know if it saves the state when you switch between tabs within the Audible app, but I do know if you close the app and then open it later, you'll have to do this again. For some reason, the listen tab is what's freezing up the app when scrolling. I am not really sure why. Except to say that perhaps it is, at least in part, a web view issue, as I believe it pulls information from the web in order to show your wish list.
HTH.
Ah...
OK so I think this is a bug, just not quite what I thought.
When I go to Library, it shows me two books in my current list and then two ones that I hadn't started beneath it. I couldn't download either of those.
I got a working pair of eyes on the case, and oddly enough they could only see one of those two books. The second one wasn't there at all. I had actually thought it was a list of everything in my library, but actually it was just most recently added, and those two books (or one if you can see) were all that was appearing.
Now I couldn't interact with either of them. If I tried to download the first one or swiped to the second one, the app would hang and then it would appear that there was nothing on screen. (Just the sad little voiceover noises and the status bar at the top).
Stupidly it didn't really occur to me to fiddle with the filters at the top. If I now change to show all audiobooks not started, then it does give me a longer list and I have been able to choose the one I want to download.
So there was an element of stupidity on my part, but also there's definitely something weird with the app. Maybe it doesn't like short lists for some reason.
I did try opening a chat with Audible support. They asked me a couple of questions that involved going into settings (first app version, next some date/time settings in a general category I couldn't find). Unfortunately when I went back the second time, the chat had disappeared and I would have to start again. Given I'd run out of time I left it there.
Anyway, thanks for confirming that it should work.
@brian
Sorry I hadn't read your post before replying. I'm glad it's not just me. Thanks also for the workaround. I suspect this is similar to what I was finding. But maybe it's not so much that my list was small, just that it was the first one.
I wonder if it is my phantom book that was causing the problem - ie the one VoiceOver could see but my wife could not. It was a real book that should have been there. All very strange.
