Adobi Digital Editions, Version 4.5.0; is it accessible?

Janice,
I downloaded the app. Initially it looked very accessible, all of the buttons and controls are clearly labeled. When I attempted to open multiple PDF documents I had no luck with VoiceOver. The only thing it seems to read is the page count such as 1/2 with the document being 2 pages. It seems to read the functions of the app, but not the actual content of the document. i wonder if any other AppleVis users have any recommendations. I could not get VoiceOver to read the content of documents so for reading content I would say this app is not accessible with VoiceOver. It identifies the page count as an editable field and does not read anything else.
