Is there an accessible Kindle application for the iPhone or iPAD? At present, I can only read Kindle material via a Kindle Accessibility Plug In on my WINDOWS PC.

Not that I know of

As far as I know, there isn't an accessible app for iOS devices. Amazon says it's because of legal issues, say they need proof a screen reader is being used. Hence Kindle for PC's accessibility plugin, which can only be used if a screen reader is dected to be running. It really frustrates me, seeing as Amazon is one of the leading eBook sellers. There was a post on here a while back about the Barns and Noble Nook iOS app being accessible, but I don't have a B&N account, so I never tested it. Sorry this wasn't actually helpful.
