the thing that worries me is there are only 8 islands. I'm worried the game will lose its playability after that. I suggested on the audio games thread that therre one day be a way we could create our own and have them approved by the server admins if any, this way there is no unfair advantage etc.

It is not completely audio, but there are some audio sounds in it. It is also mainstream and gets updated with new stuff every time. Sorry I'm a bit off topic but, just saying in case someone haven't tried it yet.

if the game has some haptic feedback.
that will be cool

I described the concept of this game to my nephews who are fully sighted, and they're saying it sounds a lot like Clash of Clans.

Now, the problem with Clash of Clans is it's pay to win.

If this game ends up being pay to win, then I don't think all this hype surrounding this game will last very long.

I can understand paying to get more islands eventually, since it's only 8 islands at the start, but please don't make it reliant on pay to win because while it's new it may work for a while, but I think people will eventually grow tired of paying for upgradible defenses.

I hope it just have to pay with the new islands.

The subject says it all. I'm trying to change it to where you atally kinda fight with other players ... with weapons like swords and stuff or just put more snakes their way ... literally as they're playing at the same time. this can't happen, but I'm trying to change that too. we'll se if any of my ideas come into the real version ... a couple days or so away from rlease now!

I could be wrong, but I highly doubt you'll be seeing realtime battles in this game, and even if there were real time battles, I would simply attack a player's island while they're asleep.

A lot of users on this site are from the US, which means, for someone in Australia or New Zealand, would make them easy pickings.

The same goes for the reverse.

I'm going off a youtube demo I heard, and the way it is set up now, makes it fair for everyone.

As much fun as it sounds to be able to attack someone in real time, I don't think we're quite there yet.

What do you do when you want to play, but everyone else isn't online, you would be stuck.

Remember the blindfold games with friends? it would be like that, no one to play with.

So it does sound like the developers have thought of that, which is why the game is the way it is.

Will this game be available for android as well? Maybe I can try and get some of my android friends to play it also if it is.

If feer made it to android eventually, then one would assume Sonar Islands will also make it to android, eventually.

I think Feer was released on Android about 2 or 3 weeks after the iOS launch.

I really don't feel like scrolling through the long list of comments here to see if this has already been answered, but when exactly is this game supposed to be released now? According to the original post, it was supposed to be released in March 2021. But it doesn't seem like that has happened. So, what's the update here? Also, just a recommendation; it would be nice if the original post would be updated with that information since some people may just be interested in getting that bit of information and may not want to scroll through two pages worth of comments.

The way I understand it, the March release date, was a tentative release date. From the sounds of it though, it seems like it’s going to be released soon. I can’t wait!

Feer is just endless and mindless running. In this game, we will be able to explore islands and I think there will be more of a story. Some of the sounds will be the same. Overall, this one will be better.

just wait and see what comes up. I've heard things from the developers, but don't know exactly when they'll release.

I guess it's in apple's hands now. Here is a link to their blog post. I'm actually glad they have 3 islands you can play with as well to get yourself used to everything before you start to loot other islands.

I am so excited. Can’t wait to play this!

Submitted by KE7ZUM on Thursday, April 15, 2021

Actually, I didn't think of that, silly me. I'm thinking we might get it tomorrow, as apple releases stuff I believe according to our time zones, which is probably a good thing. this way, the servers are not hit hard by let's say a million people hitting them at once. You are correct, they are located I think 9 hours ahead of me, UTC plus 1 as of DST, at least where I'm located.

I have no idea. I never pay attention, as normally I'm asleep. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow, while I'm at work. Booooo!

I am really looking forward to playing this. Hopefully I can download it on both my iPad and phone.

I downloaded the game. It seems really awesome! I signed up for the monthly subscription and I am now building or upgrading my island. This is going to be a lot of fun. Haven’t tried attacking an island yet.

Hi all! İ have this problem. When i open some accessible games it says direct touch field. Can someone help me?

Submitted by on Friday, April 16, 2021

If you get the message from Voiceover "enable Direct touch", open the rotor menu and enable direct touch. This setting should be stored and you don't have to do it again.

We have chosen VoiceOver with all new gestures and they all should work .

All others enjoy the game, we put a lot into the box.

I have Game Center enabled on my iPhone. When I go into settings in Sonar Islands it says I'm signed into Game Ceter. Below that it says my account is insecure. If I click on learn more, it says I need to connect Sonar Islands to game center. Is anyone else seeing this? If so, how do I fix this?

Submitted by DMNagel on Friday, April 16, 2021

We can't exactly choose who we want to attack. This is probably for the best, because it will prevent some players from attacking the same player over and over again. Still a good game though.

Hey so, I'm a little reluctant to get the subscription.
How exactly does building your island work?
Like do you get to decide which obstacles go where, or does an island just get generated for you and all you do is upgrade it?
If it's the latter, I'm probably not going to get it, as it just seems mindlessly grinding up levels.
Let me know.

You're not the only one with the game centre problem.

I know of one other person apart from myself who's had this happen.

I'm wondering if it's because of the slight variation in the username.

I hope not, because it's been years since I set up my game centre and I don't think they let you change usernames.
