Once you enter diceworld do you need to create a user name or does it give you a user name when you play it?
I really want to start playing it especially farkle and others.
Also can you play the games from the keyboard?
I am due to have some one to one voice over training starting on Thursday afternoon so am looking forward to it.
cheers and thanks.
I've played it for a couple years.
I believe an account is optional but not required. When I got it, I made one, but I've seen guests play. If you want to save your current level and gold you earn though, I recommend making one. Gold is used for extra rolls in games which allow it.
I believe you can play with the keyboard, I do not have a BlueTooth keyboard for my phone, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I got mine set up so will probably e-mail my friends and let them know I'm up and running.

My dice world username is Lisa621 I will play all games except Yatzy or Ballett. Also I will play both bonus and non bonus games. For those of you just getting started on dice world I think you will really like it as much as I do. Feel free to send me game requests as I enjoy playing against new opponents.
I don't know what's happened with DiceWorld, but it has become very slow lately. I can doubletap on anything and it is very slow to respond, or, many times it doesn't respond at all. I would play a few rounds, and when it would totally crash, I would take it from the app switcher and open it from scratch. It would play better for a little while, then gradually get slower and slower. Last night I decided to uninstall it, since it's taking me forever to get through all my games. I'm using an Iphone5S. It's worse since I'm testing the nine Beta, but it did it in eight as well. I'm wondering if a reinstall would help the situation. I think I'll write the developer to see if they have any ideas. It's one of my favorite games; I hate not being able to play it. Good morning all, have a blessed rest of the day.
I would reinstall and see if that fixed the problem, If you uninstall and reinstall the app, all it's data gets erased--which starts the app over from scratch, but this can be used to fix bugs such as what you're experiencing.
If you have a DiceWorld account you can log back in though, and I think you even get your settings back once you're logged in. Can't be sure about that last part, though. Luckily, if your settings don't come back, the app's only got a few settings to change, and I believe they're all on one page.
