I'm just now jumping on the upgrade bandwagon and am updating my primary devices. I'm now onto the secondary devices, and am wondering others' experiences with iOS 11 on an iPad mini 4 and an iPod Touch 6th generation. I know these devices are technically well within the supported list from Apple, but I also know that running Voiceover takes resources and sometimes an older device with a newer OS is not the most optimal user experience.
Due to a problem with my iPhone storage I had to offload a lot of apps prior to updating to iOs 11.
Now I cannot for the little fragile life of me find the offloaded apps in the settings.
I know they are on the home screen but are they in the settings?
I'm wondering where on the uber eats app can I report the voiceover crashing the app when adding items? There's no way to contact under the help section nor an accessibility option like there is on the regular uber app.
Thanks
Hi, if you go into a location saved as a favorite I have an issue locating the play forcast button. Do to the inaccessibility of some parts it would get a 1 or 2 star rating at this point. I would rather not do that. Instead my plan is can the wonderful Applevis community please rally together and contact the devs and ask them to make the app 100% voice over? this is the developer documentation you want to point them to.
I would like to be able to send virtual e-card for different holidays and birthdays to my friends and family.
However the last three websites Iβve tried, most of the cards you need a subscription to send them because their premium or fancy.
These websites say that they have some free cards that you can choose from. But the only way to tell his by a visual picture. They say the premium cards have larger thumbnails, and the free ones are smaller images with an ad beside them. But because I use a screen reader there is literally no difference and I canβt tell which is which.
Hi.
I would like to ask you what do you think, which is the best app for GPS and why?
I would like to heard as many opinions as possible.
When you decide to share your experience, could you also please tell us what features does it have or at least could you recommend a website where we can learn details about the app?
I'm looking forward to your post.
I am still trying to decide which GPS app would be best for me. I want ot be able to explore places virtually without leaving home. I want to be able to explore street by street as if I were there. I think Sendero GPS does this and so does Nearby Explorer. Sendero is a lot more expensive so I am most interested in Nearby Explorer.
Anyway, which one has the best maps? Does Nearby use Google Maps? Google has great maps and theyβre up-to-date. I would like something that isnβt outdated.
I'm just checking in to see which apps everyone is using to edit the descriptions and other metadata associated with photos.
Every search I have attempted using something associated with "exif" produces results that do not clarify which app I should try, especially since most of them are not free.
Which ones work well and are VoiceOver accessible?
Hi, I'm sure that I saw an application. in the app you do something (I don't remember), you gain points buy doing it, then you can use the points like the real Money. For example, you can get spotify primium with the points you gained in the app.
Which app was that?
Now that we have been given the green light to discuss the IOS 13.1 beta, could some people who are running the 13.1 beta tell us which bugs are resolved in 13.1? I am waiting on 13.1 and, though I am excited about some of the new features in IOS 13, if a lot of these bugs remain in 13.1 then I will just stick with IOS 12 for now.
I am going to travel and am going to use Just Press Record to make an audio diary. Just curious of wich device would be more reliable; my iPad, iPhone or apple watch?
Is there anything on the site discussing just the features of IOS 10 that work with any of the iPhone 5 series? I have a 5s, but it's my first iDevice of any kind and I only got it last November, and so far all I've done with it is play games and listen to sports and music, mostly using the siriusXM app.
Is the fitbit Charge or Fitbit Charge 2apps accessible with VoiceOver? Is it easy to navigate and use? my wife is trying to find a fitbit app to help monitor her heart rate. I use a Fitbit Flex which doesn't have this information.
I'd love the possibility to add custom gestures to activities. Imagine how nice it would be to have custom gestures for scriviner or pages or whatever word processing app you use. Also, adding gestures for specific functions inside apps, a 2 fingers sweep up to send a message in whatsapp for example.
What do you think?
Hi all particularly in the uk,i have just started using blind square but am wishing for the following to occur. i like how it tells me in x amount of yards bob street with ben street, for example. so i know i am approaching an intersection of the current and next street. however, is there a better but very simlar app, or a way for blind square, to say in our example. you are on bob street then in 20 yards bob street crossing ben street on your right?blind square, whilst not a navigation app, is not saying in which direction the cross-streets go, or can it be set to do this?
Hey, I gave my old iPad Air to my parents, and I need to buy a new one. Yes, I know that iPad Pro is a little bit expensive, but I think it is cool and the big screen really attracts me. I think the iPad Air 2 is pretty much like my old iPad Air, but it is much cheaper than iPad Pro. Anyone has bought an iPad Pro or is going to get one?
Hi Everyone,
I just bought Djay for my phone, however, I'm reading where Muxic can do at least what I mainly am looking for, and that's eliminate the dead air between songs.
My questions are: which app is better to use? Is there a podcast on Djay? I see where you can record on Djay, but do the recordings take up space on your device, or are they stored in Djays music folder or something like that?
Thanks in advance, love this sight!!
Shane.
