Hello everybody!

I am experiencing challenges with VoiceOver and the Yelp app so I wrote them to bring the issue to their attention. After just a couple days, I'm pleased to report that Charlotte, a member of their support team, personally responded to my report today saying they're aware of the problem and it's being worked on. Just thought I'd share a positive story of my experience with Yelp. Hopefully we get that fix soon.

Yelp was working great on my iphone SE running IOS 10.3 for a while, until, as usual, after upgrading to the latest version of Yelp around mid-2017, a few things are broken:
1) it no longer tells you what cross streets the business is located, now it just says the neighborhood after the address. Sure you could look it up using other maps, but that's launching another app altogether, and these maps apps usually don't actually tell you about the cross street either.

Please be sure to email the developer of the app with me. The posts are no longer readable. You can only see number where the post should be.

Hey all, I have been using yocto alarm clock for a while now. Ever since IOS 8, the time values are very wrong and I can adjust 1 of 10000 instead of 12 or 24. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it several times but the issue continues. Anyone have any idea's? If this app is broken what other alarm apps can I get that will play through an external Bluetooth speaker?

i was wondering if there were any yoga apps for the i-phone that can work with voiceover?

I have discovered that not all gestures need to be performed correctly to have them recognised and correctly performed by VoiceOver. For example, if you are listening to music that you wish to pause, a one-finger tap followed by a two-finger tap or vice versa is sufficient. This is the case for other gestures as well.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or Apple's new privacy policy.

Normally I can leave my phone on the table and say 'hey siri read my last message from Martin.

Siri now asks me to unlock my phone first. The whole point of hey siri is that you do not need to touch your phone.

It's not just for us blind people. What about people who have difficulty moving their hands or even no arms.

Is anybody experiencing this? It's really annoying.

Hi all, On Sunday I upgraded my YouGig app to version 1.01. Before this, the app was working fine and the accessability was really good. However, once upgraded to the new version, the app will not open at all. When I double tap on the app it just fails to open at all and I've tried it from the home page and also from the update page on the app store. I've even tried to switch off and on again. Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm using an iPhone 5s and IOS 7.1. Thank you, Steve.

Hi. I have a question about youplayer. I've been using it for some time now, and I absolutely love it! But... Now when I go in to the app and try to play a video, it doesn't go in to the video right away and give me all of the controls and options to either pause the video, play the video, previous track, ETC... I have to click on this other option first while the video is already playing. Then it allows me to see the controls of the video. But still while playing, it goes in and out of showing me the controls periodically and automatically back and forth as well.

Hello, I downloaded the YouPlayer app yesterday, and I absolutely love it. I played a video and everything played great. Today, when I updated the app, I tryed to play a video, and when I doulbe tap on the video, it acts like it is going to play, but it takes me completely out of the app. I took the app out of the app switcher and tryed again, no-go. I uninstalled thee app and reinstalled, no-go. I even tryed to figure out how to contact the developer to let him know about my problem but could not figure out how to contact him.

I don't use Uber often because we have both buses and paratransit I can use more cheaply instead. But when I do need Uber, I do need it.
This morning when they closed our workplace early due to bad air (I live in Silicon valley and the smoke from the northern California fires is just sitting here) I had to Uber home. My ride choices were Uber Pool express and Economy , which didn't seem very economical at all at almost $40 to travel 15 miles. So I picked Uber pool Express, not realizing it was different than Uber pool.

Hello,
My name is John Petrous and I created a mobile application called Tappy Guide that helps cities and it's transportation systems become smarter for people with disabilities. We are similar to Be My Eyes and Aira. We provide wayfinding solutions for all people with disabilities.

I'm excited to introduce a new app I've developed for the iPhone.
I created this app to address a personal need, as I often needed a way to note down pathways I didn't frequently take and read them with ease.
A friend of mine liked it and said, "Hey, tweak a few things and release it. Many of us could find it useful."
Here are the app details:

I guess that you are all aware of the App Store ads, but I am not sure if you are aware of their implication on the market which may be totally unacceptable for disability products.

Dear All,

Alex from BreakR is here.
BreakR is a completely free voice messaging walkie-talkie style app capable of hands-free operation.

Our iOS app has been live for about a year and we are currently rethinking it with the aim to make a better communication tool for the blind and low-vision users.

We would greatly appreciate if any of you would spare a couple of minutes to answer a few questions about your experience of online communication:

Hello. This post is regarding my quest to find the perfect YouTube app And surprisingly enough, the winner is the YouTube app made by Google. I tried two other ones, Youplayer and McToube. Both were great apps, but here is some reasons why I chose the original YouTube app. For one, YouPlayer has some bugs that are not workable Like for example when you go to search for things, the app crashes and you have to go back into it. That one in particular drove me off-the-wall. And as for Mc two, the accessibility used to be great.
