Hi. I thought bridge was only in Cydia, because apple disapproved of it. However, I just found it on the app store. I just read the description and it looks like the same one in Cydia, but I am not sure. Has anyone tried both the Cydia version and the apple app store version? Can you comment on similarities and differences between them? I know the Cydia version is accessible. Is the app store version accessible? If the one in the apple app store is the same as the one in Cydia I am going to be very surprised. I thought apple would never let this app into the store. Here's the link.

Good afternoon.
So I have a strange issue.
I have been getting text messages randomly, but Australia +61 number that I don’t know.
No, usually if somebody randomly texts your phone texts the number, and if you don’t know the person you can press report is junk at the bottom of the screen.
However, there was no report junk option.
I don’t have this person saved in my contacts, I have never messaged this person before.

I'm really starting to dislike the Rotor on iOS. I've been using iPhones for ages but until now I never got used to the Rotor. I wish you could do gestures like you could on Android with one finger, for example swipe up and swipe right as part of one gesture to do a command. It would just open so many possibilities. It would be nice if Apple would let us at least choose. Option to assign l-shaped gestures under VoiceOver advanced settings for the people who want it for example, while keeping the Rotor turned on by default.

I recently just jailbroke an iPhone 4s, and made a custom sound scheme with sounds for Mac then found out about coolbooter and now had a dream about that last night.
What other jailbreak apps or tweaks should I get for iOS 6 and nine? Let me know your thoughts.

Hi all. Can anyone please tell me how to close apps without using voice-over? I plan to give my iPhone 6 Plus to my mom once I get my new iPhone X. Thanks in advance.

Hello friends. I have a Word document that I moved onto my iPhone. It was set up with headings when I created it specifically for navigation purposes. Unfortunately, now I cannot get any of my writing apps to navigate by headings. I have tried Word, Voice Dream, and Notes. I had removed Pages off the phone because I never used it, but can easily replace it if necessary. I'm running an iPhone 13 with iOS 16.6.5.

Is it useful? i want to convert a picture to sound. The app just convert a pixel of a image to sound , and you can move your finger to pick pixel. it requried ios5 or later .

It just take a screenshoot of the imageview , and scale the image in half. And it picks 16 pixels around the finger , and convet the pixel color th HSV, use the H S V compont to adjust 3 sine wav of different frequncy.

So, I got the x and I love it. VO works great, thing is I have ringtones that came over from my back up when I set up the phone. I got them from the iTunes store. They are on my phone and I want to get rid of them or just have them on my mac. When I connect my phone to my mac and go under my device, it says there are no tones so I can not find them to be able to delete them and if I could find them, how would I go about getting rid of them without having to reset the phone to factory?
Please help

I'm going to be doing a large amount of tweeting at one or more events; I'll need the ability, also, to create drafts and get to them easily. I'll also need to add photos to many of these tweets, including drafts, and I'll need to schedule tweets. I'd like to use one app to do all of these things if possible. Which of the many Twitter apps, including the native one, will do these things most efficiently using VoiceOver and a Bluetooth keyboard? Thank you.

Hi all. First this is a small moment i'm finally on a five. I wanted the FiveS but I just couldn't take the battery being so low sometimes. Now my questions are this. Siri: 1. I see a tab in the settings called my info. but when I click it I'm brought to my contact. Thinking i needed to select myself I did, but I don't see anything like where you can get it to call yourself something. Second. Do you have to use that app recently discovered about where it stops the you said, thing? Because i haven't always heard that I was confused on that. I'll have more qustions but for now that's it.

Hi all:

So, I've tried to make use of the shortcuts feature for a couple years now, and I've even managed to make 3 shortcuts. Full disclosure, they're all for the same app.

I've tried to make more, but I just can't wrap my mind around the logic of the language. Would be grateful if someone can explain shortcuts to me like I'm 5.

I went to a small college, between the years of 2004-2008. Thank God they were accredited before I finished, because they have sense closed. The school didn’t have a disibilities department, and I don’t think I could get the books in Braille. The first semester was long days, into long nights, after purchasing the books from the small campus book store, and scanning each night until 3AM on a flatbed scanner into Openbook software. I remember on a couple of ocasions when Openbook crashed while processing, after 5-8 hours of scanning.

I just saw that OpenAI released an official Chat GPT app for iOS so I downloaded it tonight and gave it a spin. My first impression is very good! It's just about as accessible, simple and logically organized as you could hope for. I found it much easier to use than their web interface which I find has some major accessibility pitfalls.
Of particular usefulness is the ability to search your chat history which I don't believe the website offers. It also uses haptic feedback to let you know that a response is still being generated.

Hi! I have noticed that all the items I have saved in my clips app keep disappearing and it's annoying. I downloaded another app and it does it there aswell. I am pretty sure I'm doing it by doing a single finger double tap plus holding in the desktop on my Iphone. I keep doing it accidentally trying to do something else. Does anybody know why this happens? Kinda a weird question I guess.

Some how I lost my unlock sound in iOS 18. I got my new iPhone 16 last Friday September 20th and it was working then. As of this past Saturday I lost it. Also when I hit the action button Voiceover no longer says silent mode or ring mode. I've tryed turning on and off VO and heck even resetting my phone to factory settings and it's still gone. Please help.

Hey all,

In the classic new user fashion, I'm not sure if this is the right section or even right website to post so let me know if I should post it somewhere else. The /r/blind community over on reddit reminded me of AppleVis.

Hello. I'm a solo iOS developer and I'm trying my best to support a11y features in my apps. During a WWDC lab I got a suggestion to submit my app for feedback here. I just released an app for iOS 16 and would appreciate comments about how I can improve it for accessibility. It's a freemium app and the vasty majority of the functionality is available without paying. Here's the link for Foodlapse:
