unlocked iPhone on different networks

Hello folks, From what I was able to gather AT&T is selling unlocked the unlocked iPhone 5. If this is true I do intend to purchase one as soon as I can. I plan on using it with an independent carrier called Straight Talk which is running on the GSM network. If it proves to not be the network I prefer will I be able to use the iPhone on a CDMA network such as Virgin Mobile or do I have to pick with a platform and stick with it? Thanks, Louis

With a unlocked iPhone you can use it on any network including GSM and CDMA networks. You don't have to stick with one platform.
