Trackpad on iPad Magic Keyboard with VoiceOver

Is it possible to use the trackpad on the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air / Pro with VoiceOver in a similar way as on the Mac when trackpad commander is enabled? Are the standard VoiceOver gestures recognized on iPadOS?

I think it is not possible to use track pad.
Read the other topics about this magic keyboard.
A really magic.
But I don't know.
I don't use that device.
Cheers!

Hey.
Unfortunately, Apple has not implemented such gestures at all for the iPad, this feature doesn't exist for the upcoming iOS 15 according to the betas I tried so far as a developer.
So, basically is useless right now.

I don't understand why this track pad is so important.
You can use gestures on the iPad screen.
So, no need to have another gesture place.
I think so.
As i wrote early, it isn't any track pad but just a simple touch pad.
Cheers!

Well, it could be really useful because it would allow you to type using the keyboard and switching to touch gesture. Otherwise, you need to interact with the touch screen, located away from your typing position, and then put your hands again on the keyboard.

Located away?

This device has not been created for the blind people, I think so.
Or more softly saying.. at least not only for the blind people.
Therefore, I don't find that iPad should be located so remotely.
You can touch your iPad.
At least you can place it close to you.
Or you can work using only your keyboard without any touches.
Therefore, it would be better to purchase a usual Bluetooth typing device.
Moreover, there are a lot of the similar devices in the market.
But if you want to be cool, then buy the apple magic cool typer.
It is expensive and very cool.
But it is not so interesting.
Though ... Everyone is doing one's choice.
Cheers!

I agree with Alan. I would love to be able to use it in the same way as with VoiceOver's trackpad commander feature on macOS which works very well.

Hi!
We can agree or disagree.
It doesn't change anything.
Tell Apple to do what you would love to...
Apple may not agree with you. <smile>
I don't agree why my ipad can't call like iPhone.
Though it is a software limitation!
But Apple doesn't agre with me.
Apple says me buy or don't buy.
If you buy you have to agree, my friend.
If you don't agree you won't use any apple device.
Well... have you read the apple's agreement while activating iPhone or IPad?
Could you disagree while using these device?
Okay, your choice - to be or not to be - to agree or not to agree.
Be happy!
Cheers!
