Kwikset Halo Wi-Fi Smart Lock

Hello everyone
I am considering a smart lock and I am looking for advice on one that is blindness friendly and works on iOS. I am thinking that one with a physical keypad would be best. I went to a local hardware store but could find only one with a keypad that is "integrated," meaning it will fit my current front door. Has anyone had any experience with the Kwikset 99380-001 Halo Wi-Fi Smart Lock I found?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The only one I have experience with

The only one I have personal experience with is the August smart lock. The app is not the greatest, but can be used. The newest version especially is supposed to be pretty easy to install and is compatible with various smart assistants. I know you can by a keypad to go with the August, as well. I have never even heard of the brand you mentioned, even from my friends with other types of smartlock. Unfortunately that means I'm not willing to bet on its being accessible, but if you try it and find otherwise, by all means let us know!

App have some accessibility bugs.

Hello. When we bought this house last year. We bought those Halo locks but my wife bought the touchscreen ones. We did not know there was buttons ones after we installed them. Found out a friend have the touch buttons and I think those will work better for Blind users. Touchscreen I cannot use unless you use the key, or the app. Now the app is not the best on IOS. I can get around, but sometimes the button just does not work. I have to repeatedly kill the app to show the different locks. The locks will have to be sometimes reset every 2 to 3 weeks by pulling the battery out and then back in to get the locks displayed in the app.

Personally, this is cool to have, but I think more thought could be put in these locks. App is not the best.

Thanks

Thank you for your help with this project so far. I have one other question. What are the advantages of Bluetooth or WIFI smart locks.
At first, I was thinking that Wi-Fi would be better since it is perminently fixed to my home, but, If I want to connect to it with my phone wouldn't Bluetooth be better, especially in the case of a power outage?
Thanks Again.
