Charging Apple watch question

Hardware and Accessories

Ever since i was a kid and had a bad experience over charging an old Braille display, I've always been paranoid about if I charge it right etc. Here's my question. I touch the watch and it says charging 100% 14% so what's that about? It can't be the standing activity since it's not on my wrist and it was only eight percent that time I had it on. Help would be great. series eight latest watch OS.

Sorry I put it in the wrong place, I am not awake, wasn't sure if I misunderstood it was the OS or what.

Never seen this with my series 7 and current OS. I do charge my watch at 6:00 AM after waking up. By 7:00 AM is finishing charging.

Agreed, mine is super fast, takes 2q0 minujtes to go from 60 to 100 percent. Make sure you are plugging it into a charger/device that can pull about 40 wats.
