Personal issue with auto correction on braille screen in ios27

Hello, After updating to ios27, I don't hear suggestions when I swip down with one finger while typing using braille screen input. I only get emoji suggestions, has anyone experienced this issue and was able to find a workaround? Many thanks.

I can confirm. I am getting this as well. I have no idea what’s going on but it’s annoying to say the least.

You can:

  • Go to Settings -> General -> Keyboards. Enable Autocorrect and optionallo Predictive Text. This is also mentioned here by the way.
  • Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver -> Braille -> BSI. Leave Autocorrect On to have it silently correct as you type or Off to do the swipe up/down thing. The latter should be close to the original behavior.

Unfortunately, I have some further issues even when configuring it as above. I'm curious if you'll have the same, so I'll not spoil it for now.
