It's always annoying to have to switch back to the regular keyboard for certain symbols, this is a very useful resource, thanks. Was trying to work out how to do a *, it's 35 35 for any who care. Annoyingly the US version of brail doesn't seem to have the 'action' contraction which I find very weird.
I've never used contracted braille with BSI, mainly because I keep hearing it's unreliable when it translates.
And you can ask siri how to write symbols in braille, the answer unfortunately isn't accessible to us.
Go figure.
I'd ask a sighted person who happens to know braille if it's accurate just to make sure, but it does work, we just can't benefit from the result, hense the link I posted above.

in UEB it's dots 46, followed by dots 356.
I find this site pretty useful when it comes to braille symbols.

Even that page isn't perfect.
Contracted Braille
I use contracted Braille all the time. I don't have any issues with it. I write in the English U.S. version. I don't like to write using UEB.
