How to open apps using my Orbit Reader display

Braille on Apple Products

hi all, in ios 14, why can I still not, as with braille screen input, simply on my Orbit 20, type an app and have it highlighted, to open? Is this a bug, or can it be resolved somehow? why would I want to touch the phone itself when I can control all of it, from the orbit 20?

Opening apps with braille keyboard

I'm not sure about just typing the name of the app, I think that may be something specific to Braille input. However, using a braille keyboard, once you navigate to an app, you can open it with 3 6 chord. I use a braille display with my phone and almost never have to touch the phone itself.
Hope this info helps.
Jim
