Braille screen input mode bug

Does anybody notice that when doing contracted braille, whenever you put the letters "i" "n" in contracted format, it just says the word "in" instead of letters like it meaning voiceover does for the other contractions? Maybe I'm new to this but I just now noticing it.

OK this is very interesting it’s only happening with the African-American male Siri voice that I’ve switched to on voiceover I know that Alex the original voice over voice, says the characters as is so that’s good to know. I thought I was missing something lol! Thanks for the clarification.

What African-American VoiceOver voice are you referring to?
