I was using my Mantis Q40 with my iPhone 16E. I exited out to the menu to check the battery and delete my old phone from the paired devices.
When I tried to select the terminal again to keep using the display with my phone, it just froze on the option. It doesn't seem to respond to any buttons, even the power button. And my phone still acts like it's connected in that the keyboard doesn't show up, but I don't mind that last part too much since I use braille screen imput when the display isn't connected. Any advice would be appreciated..
Update 1: As I was writing this post my Mantis fell asleep. I thought that fixed it, but as soon as I pressed terminal again, it froze just like the first time. I'm going to wait for it to sleep again, and then restart it. Hopefully that fixes it.
Update 2: it responded to the power button this time, and I was able to turn it off. I could then turn it on again, and now it works! I’m typing the last part of this post on it. But I’ll still post it in case this happens to anyone else.

Try this
Hey try holding the power button on the Mantis for about 30 seconds and see if it forces a restart. You may also try plugging it in as maybe the battery just discharged.
Reboot
Usually holding the power button for 3-5 seconds will force it to restart. And yes for whatever reason the Mantis will occasionally freeze up like this. Also if it loses a Bluetooth connection it almost always will freeze. The software could use some debugging...
