Hi guys.
Has anyone had luck with innecting the envision glasses to your personal ally account.
I can get it to connect but when I double tap on ally it just plays the loading sound.
It doesn't connect.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Intellectually, I understand that Envision will probably never make this possible, but it would be really great if Ally would work on the Meta smart glasses as well. For several years, I really had my heart set on trying to get the Envision glasses, but the price is simply too prohibitive. I wish that instead of developing $4,000 glasses, Envision would have put their effort into supporting the far more affordable Meta glasses. I was actually planning to skip smart glasses altogether for a while longer, but two very good friends of mine both highly recommended the Meta glasses, and I had a long talk with myself. When I really thought about it, it was actually a no brainer. Did I want to spend $4,000 I don't have, or would it make more sense to spend $400 over several months from Amazon? I've had my Meta glasses for around a month, and while I still don't use them all that often mostly because I've never warn glasses of any kind before and they just feel weird to wear for extended periods of time, they meet my needs just fine. It just makes me sad that Ally can't function on them. Thankfully, if I do want to use Ally, I can do that on my phone, although I miss out on the hands-free experience which I've come to appreciate from my meta glasses.

Well I am not offering much help, because I still can't connect them, but here is a response from Envision Tech Support.

Here's what I can suggest for you to try:

list of 3 items
1. When you are making the connection, please make sure that you do the one-finger double tap gesture twice, at the beginning, to prompt the Glasses to
start lookiong for the QR code.
2. As in, do a one-finger double tap once, when you've entered the context menu of Ally and have found the option to connect your Glasses.
3. Then, when you hear the Glasses start to explain the connection process, do a one-finger double tap again, to prompt the Glasses to start searching
for the QR code on your phone.
list end
When it starts to search for it, make sure to hold the phone screen as still as possible (for at least 10 seconds), while you aim it towards the camera
of the Glasses. Try positioning it closer, if it doesn't detect it right away when you position the screen further from the camera.

2. If this strategy doesn't work, try opening up a browser on your smartphone. Then,
click this link,
which will bring you to the web version of Ally.
Click the Let's Start button, and then log in with your credentials into your Ally account that you created on the App.
Once you've logged in, go into the preferences section and find the button to connect your Envision Glasses. When you get to that part of the process where the QR code is generated, try pointing your Glasses' camera at this QR code instead of the one on the Appp and see if the connection works this time.
If it doesn't, try doing this process of logging into the web version on a computer instead, to see if the QR code can be better detected from a computer screen rather than a smartphone.

Hope this helps.
