Apple Hardware and Compatible Accessories

Hi all.

I'm thinking of getting a used mini to have something to see how a Mac would work for me. Late 2018 can supposedly run 15. I see a lot with 8 GB ram. I assume that wouldn't be great for 15. Is it simple enough to get older Mac OS versions?

Also, do they need a monitor to run?

Hi everyone. I think this is the right category. I'm considering an Apple watch probably some time next year. Here's my problem. Right now I have AT&T as a wireless provider. If i bought the apple watch, of course it would be connected to their towers. However since I am thinking of moving over to spectrum Mobile, who use I think Verizon's towers, I'd have to sell my watch wouldn't I? I just am looking for info before I spend a lot of money only to have to sell it and not get back what should be a decent proffit. Thanks for any help.

1- what is best hearing aids which give you a great the quality?
2- what is the hearing aids which completely compatible with VoiceOver?
I tried the app from starky and resound in demo mode, but I found them not very accessible with VoiceOver, there are many unlabeled buttons.

Hello Apple Vis,
I had a question I wanted toast you guys. Have any of you used a mechanical keyboard? Are they any good? Are they better than a normal Mac keyboard?
I know that they are good for gaming, but for a person who types regularly. I was curious to know if they do well?
Definitely let me know what you guys think.

Hey all.
I hope everything is going well.
So, despite what apple says about the dangers of using non-certified chargers on iphones with a usb c port, are we still restrricted if we don't use the ones apple provides?
I remember people saying that you wouldn't have fast charging or protection from overcharging if you used any chargers that weren't mfi, so wanted to get your thoughts on this since I might be getting an iphone 16 at the beginning of next year.

Hello all,
I will be receiving my new iPhone 7 plus on Thursday and I have some questions. First what is a good way to back up and transfer just my contacts? I want to set the unit up as a new phone rather than restoring from a backup. Secondly what should I do to my old phone before I trade it in? I know i need to unpair my watch from the old phone.

Hi, Following Davids excelent review of the linkbuds which i may get by the way, has anyone tried the linkbuds s? i thought the purpose of them, was to make you aware, not block out noise? thanks for any thoughts. also, how good is the noise canceling say, when on a train, car, etc? assume the "ambient mode" is fine for when on the street?

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, but not new when it comes to Apple devices. I have the iPhone xs, Apple watch, iPad pro, and even an Apple tv. I have owned macs before, but am currently in the market for a new one. I just have a few questions, that I am hoping can be answered here.

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has used the life proof case with their iPhone five. I have one, and have been reading reviews, but thus far haven't actually stuck my phone in there. So, because I'm lazy and because I can't possibly be the only one with these questions, I'm posting the following: 1. Have you noticed any difficulty performing touch screen gestures with the life proof case? Some reviewers have complained that the touch screen becomes difficult to interact with while in the case, and I'm wondering how this seems with VoiceOver gestures and with apps like Fleksy.

Hello all!
I recently as in today, just picked up the logitech keyboard and trackpad combo case. I am fully aware that the trackpad doesn't have voiceover support, and my question is about the keyboard only. I am noticing that a lot of the voice over commands like screen curtain and and mute speech don't work, and I can't see the keyboard in the commands section of the accessibility settings so I can add them. I'm really hoping I didn't waste $159 on this case. For refference, I'm using an ipad air fourth generation.

Hi. I just want to get some opinions on the 15 inch MacBook pro with retina display.
That is the new computer I will eventually purchase. I have a broken MacBook air with an extremely small hard drive which failed. I don't want to purchase a new MacBook air because I'm worried that it won't have enough space for me to download xcode, so I will get the macBook Pro with 512 gigabytes of SSD.

Hello all,
I just received a Mi Band I purchased on Amazon because they were only $20. How long does it usually take to fullly charge one of these up? One of the main reasons I purchased it was because of its 3 to 4 weeks of charge as well as its alarm function. Now I just need to get some eyeballs to help me set up my account on the phone due to the verification code that voice over won't read.

Hello to all,

Hello all! I'd like to buy an Iphone 6S or 6S Plus. I know that the 6S plus has a bigger battery and a OIS (optical image stabilisator), and of course the bigger screen. So here my questions:

I just got a set of second jeneration airpods Pro, and have a couple of questions. These are the first airpods I've ever seen, much less owned, so I think I have a lot to learn. It took me a lot longer than it should have to figure out which was the left and which was the right; pretty sure they're not supposed to be interchaingable, so wearing them correctly may take a bit of practice. I heard that there was a firmware update released yesterday, so was hoping to get them fully up to date before I finish getting them set up.

Is anyone else able to use quick-nav single key quick keys in safari, h for headings, b for buttons, ETC. when quick-nav is on in safari? It is a 9.2 inch iPad Pro with the latest IOS update. I've tried it with the Apple smart keyboard, apple wireless keyboard, and a Zagg keyboard, but it doesn't work. I've also tried VO command h, but that does not work either.

Hi, I haven't posted on here in a long time but I just wanted to ask you lovely lot a question:

So, ever since about August I've been having an issue with my battery. Haven't got around to updating to iOS11 yet, so can't be that surely? But what's happening is my battery is draining incredibly quickly - at first I thought it was the counterfeit charger I was using at the time so went back to a normal apple cable.

I'm thinking of making a raised guide to lay over the iPhone screen that will make using the phone keypad quicker and easier. I used to have something like this on a microwave oven back in the 90s, just a sheet of plastic with holes punched out where the numbers were. A sighted person made it for me though.
Does anyone have ideas for materials that would work with the screen, and methods for constructing something like this without having to ask a sighted person for help?
