hi all has anyone tried Books, in ios 16? can't quite work out what going on? voiceover doesn't seem to be able to read any of a books content reliably, has anyone else noted this? just wondering how i should submit this? using iphone 11 pro

Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis
If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.
If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.
In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

My books app experience
Hello,
Like you, I have this bug as well. I have an iPhone SE second generation. when a book is opened, in my case, Walks By Big Alexβs Pond, by Henry Van Berkle, VoiceOver reads only the top level menu. To read this book, I have to drag my finger until I hear VoiceOver read text from this book. I can then press VO-A, to read it. I use a Bluetooth Keyboard. I am running iOS 16 developer beta 3 update.
How about Mac OS Ventura?
Did anyone try books app on Mac OS Ventura? Is it buggy like in Δ°OS 16?
