My Thoughts
Since Talkback proper does not have 'interactive' OCR capability still, I use Prudence for that. On my S23 Plus in Purple, I have the 'press-and-hold' volume buttons (for three seconds) gesture assigned to Prudence, and volume-up+power for Samsungs Talkback. If you're on a Pixel, you can assign prudence to the three-finger-triple-tap (if I recall the gesture correctly.)
Speaking of OCR (where the premium version of Jieshuo/Commentary does have a slightly easier OCR interface to work with apps), Prudence's ain't bad. Though make sure you assign a gesture to thy 'Recognize The Text On Screen' function (which I have set to the long-volume-down command.) By default, long-volume-up toggles between 'explore by touch.' Do ya know how useful that is?
NB. I have no idea what the 'Prudence Dynamic Feature' does, or what it's meant for. Also, make ssure you sign up for a free account if you wish to tech advantage of their AI features.
If you'd like to get in contact with them by the way, see the 'About Prudence' section under 'Prudence Settings.'
Bonus Tip
In case you are wondering where you you can still get the latest open source version of Talkback from (talking the original one here), you can grab that from F-Droid.
