Hi all,
One of the things keeping me to iPhone is AirTags. I do not fit the stereotype of being blind and very organised. I am constantly losing or misplacing things and worried I've left things behind. I am unsure whether I will switch at any stage, as much as I'd love to, because I use iMessage group chats with my friends and support workers and Find My is also very handy for seeing how far away people are when you're expecting a liftbut I'd like to keep this as a reference point for anyone else curious about switching and who also rely on AirTags.
What have been your experience with Android alternatives to AirTags? Moto Tags, Pebblebee (what a cute name), Samsung Smart Tags?

Is Tile still a thing?
I remember an old podcast series in french around 2017-2018 ish mentioning this thing, plus they actually seem to have real other form factor like a card.
Re: Tile
I bought mrs grieves a couple of Tiles a couple of years ago. I didn't set them up and haven't used the app so can't comment on the accessibility there. We did set them up with A-lady and so we were able to ask it to find the keys or whatever. I always knew when she had lost her keys because I could hear this jaunty tune coming from a room somewhere.
It's been a while since I've heard it, so maybe she has stopped using it or never transferred it to the new phone. I will try to find out.
But that's definitely where I would look first.
Tile is a throwback
I honestly completely forgot Tile... I had one back in 2017, but I was low vision back then so can't comment on the app's accessibility with either VoiceOver or TalkBack, or any of the Android screen readers.
