Description

If you attempt to use the VoiceOver rotor to drag a widget to the last available position on the Today View, you may find that focus will move to the Home screen and it is then not possible to navigate back to the Today View whilst still in Edit Mode.

Steps to reproduce

  1. You should have a number of widgets enabled on the Today View.
  2. VoiceOver needs to be enabled.
  3. Navigate to the Today View.
  4. Place VoiceOver focus on to any widget.
  5. Make sure that the VoiceOver rotor is set to its Actions menu.
  6. Flick up with 1 finger repeatedly until VoiceOver says “Edit Mode”.
  7. Double tap with 1 finger.
  8. Place VoiceOver focus on to any widget other than the one currently located last on this screen.
  9. Flick up with 1 finger until VoiceOver says “Drag WidgetName”.
  10. Double tap with 1 finger.
  11. Place VoiceOver focus on to the widget currently located last on the Today View.
  12. Flick up with 1 finger repeatedly to move through all available options on the Actions menu.

You would expect to be able to access and use all of the available menu options (such as those for dropping the widget that you are currently attempting to drag).

What actually happens is that you will be taken to the first page of the Home screen. Once on this screen it is not possible to navigate back to the Today View - either by using the 3 finger swipe or the page picker control element.

Note that it is possible that this issue only present itself when there are many enabled widgets - at least enough to require scrolling the page.
