ON occasion,When editing text that contains line breaks using a braille display, the cursor which is represented by dots 7 and 8 will disappear after a cursor routing button is pressed

Category
Braille
Severity
Moderate

Description

The title says all that needs to be said. This is happening in Notes, Mail, and some textfields in Safari.

Steps to reproduce

Type in a text field that contains line breaks. When you wish to go back and edit text, pressing a cursor routing button to the exact spot where you wish to edit may not invoke dots 7 and 8.

Workaround

In some cases, turning on the on-screen keyboard with space and 1-4-6 will bring the cursor back, but this is not a reliable work around. If the keyboard is already visible, sometimes toggling it off and back on again can sometimes bring the cursor back.
