If using the Voiceover practice feature available in Voiceover settings, the braille tab does not give the correct information about the gestures available in the braille screen input mode.
1. Open Voiceover settings,
2. Double tap the Voiceover practice option,
Here, you are able to perform gestures and hear their descriptions. You will notice two tabs at the top, general and braille.
Double tap the braille tab to make sure it is selected.
Try performing a gesture such as swiping right, swiping right with two fingers, or another gesture available in the braille screen input mode.
You will notice that VoiceOver incorrectly still gives descriptions for the standard operations of each gesture.
For example, swiping right says that it will move to the next item, while when the braille tab is active, it should instead announce that the gesture performs a space.

So it used to work?
We're onto a new IOS update in a few weeks, and they still haven't fixed this? I've only been using BSI for maybe three months, so I thought it was always broken.
This worked in 12
This used to work correctly in iOS 12, but was broken in 13.
