As of iOS 16 it is possible to customise the Lock Screen. This includes being able to add widgets to the screen in a number of available slots.
If you place the Activity widget in the top slot (the one shared with the date), VoiceOver will speak what is mostly meaningless information for the data displayed by this widget.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a custom Lock Screen that has the Activity widget placed in the top slot (so, shared with the date) and set this as the active Lock Screen
- Ensure that VoiceOver is enabled
- Navigate to the Lock Screen
- Place VoiceOver focus on to the Activity widget
You should find that VoiceOver speaks something in the form of “MoveACCESSIBILITY_MOVE_PROGRESS_LABEL_KILOCALORIESExercise90 minutesStand11 hours out of 12 hours”
Place the widget in a different slot, as it behaves as expected when anywhere other than the top slot.
