Haven't Used It Much But...
A life-skills coach/personal assistant installed this on my Mac a few years ago, because I was having an issue with my Western Digital external hard drive and we tried to figure out what exactly was going on. This app definitely seems accessible enough, but I'm unclear on how to use it. I believe it opened up by default for some files which I had downloaded. I'm going to check out their website. By default all or most audio files open in Apple's native music app, which works well for me.
VLC has no windows
Other than a few unlabelled buttons, it seems OK. However, once I start playing something, every time I press VO+right I hear "VLC has no windows" before it tells me what button I have selected, which is usable but annoying. If I choose full screen this problem goes away. Not sure if there is a proper fix.
